Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

ITEMS THAT ARE OUT OF STOCK:
You will be contacted via email if you ordered an out of stock item. At this point you can either choose to substitute for another item in stock, remove it from your order, cancel your order or place your order temporarily on hold until your item is in stock again. Due to availability and vendor issues, we can only provide an estimate as to when an out of stock item will be in stock again.

If you choose to remove the out of stock item from your order, a refund will be issued that is consistent with the original method of payment.

We do not refund shipping charges for returned orders.

Shipping

Shipping costs are calculated based on the merchandise weight and dimensions of the items in your shopping cart as well as the destination of the order and the shipping method. Packages are sent via UPS using UPS Next Day or UPS Ground. The National Archives Store is unable to ship to PO boxes, Army Post Offices (APO) or Fleet Post Offices (FPO).

Depending on volume, packages typically leave our facility within 2 – 3 business days after the receipt of the order. Please note that orders are not fulfilled on weekends or Federal holidays. Typical shipping times for UPS Ground and UPS Next Day are 1 – 5 business days (Ground) and the next business day (Next Day).

International Shipping
The National Archives Store welcomes orders from our worldwide customers; however our online store can only accept orders shipped within the US. International customers may call the customer service number to place an international order.

Oversized Items
Items that are oversized or heavy will incur an additional delivery charge when those items ship. The additional delivery amount for each of these products is specified in the product description and in your shopping cart.
